Meetup – December 14, 2024 – with Cali Rose

Hello all you Plucking Strummers. Once again we are fortunate to have the many talented Cali Rose as our song leader for the December 14th meeting. Cali is a singer, keyboard and ukulele player, songwriter, recording artist and a teacher. In her own words, “I’m thrilled to be a professional musician and entertainer. It’s a wacky world and we need all the music we can get!” So true.
Cali does all her own arrangements and will provide us with a full set of PDFs for the meeting.

Our schedule has changed a bit as we prepare for the new format beginning in January:
9 AM to 9:15 AM – For this meeting I am setting aside this time to discuss the forming of ensembles for next year.
9:15 AM to 11:00 – This is the time when we will strum and sing our hearts out to a list of songs chosen by this meeting’s song leader Cali. There will be one 10-to-15-minute break somewhere during that time.
11:15 to 11:45 – Individual performance time! I really hope we can get many people to sign up. I would love to see some our new Strummers stretch their wings. Then we need to pack up and exit the building before noon.
