DESCRIPTION:September 27th at 9:00am “OH\, BABY!”\n\n\nYour humble director is going to take Center Stage “again” and lead you on a fun excursion through a string of songs around OH\, BABY! There is no exact count of songs with the word “Baby” in the title\, but there are tens of thousands\, if not hundreds of thousands\, of songs with “Baby” in their titles\, appearing across various music platforms and playlists. The PDF of the songs for this meeting is here.\n\n\n\n\n\nOur schedule:\n\n\n9 AM to 9:45 AM – Since this will be the first meeting following the International Ukulele Festival\, I would like to invite any of our members who would like to share any tricks or interesting ukulele techniques that they learned at the festival. Any time left after that will be devoted to running through some of the songs on the OH\, BABY! list.\n\n\n\n\n\n10:00 to 11:15 AM – “OH\, BABY!”\n\n\nBaby Face\n\n\nBaby I’m Yours\n\n\nBaby It’s You\n\n\nBaby’s In Black\n\n\nBe My Baby\n\n\nGee Baby\n\n\nI’ll Be Your Baby Tonight\n\n\nIs You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby\n\n\nMaybe Baby\n\n\nRuby Baby\n\n\nWalkin’ My Baby Back Home\n\n\nYes Sir\, That’s My Baby\n\n\nYou Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby\n\n\nBaby One More Time\n\n\n\n\n\n11:15 AM to 11:40 – Individual performance time! I really hope we can get many people to sign up. I would love to see some of our new Strummers stretch their wings. Then we need to pack up and exit the building before Noon.\n\n\nDisclaimers:\n\n\nMasks are no longer mandatory\, however\, if you feel more comfortable wearing one\, please do.\n\n\nIt is very important to the church that we have completely exited the building and cleaned up behind us before the next group arrives. So\, depending on the number of performance signups\, we may or may not get to all of them. Any member who signs up but does not get to perform will be moved to the top of the list for the next meeting.\n\n\nAny member who wishes to be a guest presenter/teacher needs to contact me weeks before the meeting\, let me know what you plan to present and provide me early copies of any material you will be handing out.\n\n\nAs there are only a few music stands readily available to us\, if you have a music stand\, please bring it with you.\n\n\nThe address of C.C.L.A. is 3852 Edenhurst Ave Los Angeles CA 90039\n\n\nLet’s have some ukulele fun!
